Episode 33: Sheepdogs – A Capacity for Violence

Today I shed light on understanding the sheepdog.

Just because someone is comfortable with violence, doesn’t mean there is something wrong with them.

This episode is an encouragement to all the sheepdogs out there.

It’s also a friendly explanation for the sheep to understand them.

Odds are you’re married to one, friends with one, or you know one and understanding the mind of a sheepdog better will help us all.

It takes a long time to build trust but only a moment to damage or destroy it. If there is someone who knows this too well, it’s me.

The damage I caused to my marriage was extreme and today I share the dirt with you. I share what I did to cause the damage, how I dealt with it and what became of the rubble that was once my marriage.

You can rebuild lost trust, today’s episode shows you how.

Episode 28: Bad Days

Some days are a mother f*cker. We all have bad days but not everyone responds the same.

Today, we’re talking about mindset and actions necessary to overcome bad days or setbacks, transform them for our good, and keep pushing forward toward our goals.

By the end of this week’s episode, you’ll have an easy-to-follow pattern that’s guaranteed to help you instigate strength, peace, and success in your life. (more…)

Episode 27: Time – A Better Way to Think

Not having enough time. Killin’ time. I don’t have the time. I wish had more time. There’s not enough time in the day. I’ve said all these variations and I bet you have too. No, this is not a show about “time management”… it’s not possible to “manage” time.

Time moves ahead with zero input from us nor would our input matter, so we can never “manage time”. Today, we’re talking about time and its value, as we learn how to think of time in a different way.

The goal is that we approach our time with more intentional thought and action. That we begin protecting it and investing it in more productive ways that last. The goal is that we use it for much more than “getting by” or “paying bills”.

The goal, the ultimate goal, is that on our death bed, we smile knowing we kicked ass with it instead of frown, regretting how we wasted it.

Episode 26: Stuck in the Past

Episode 26: Stuck in the Past

Is there someone in your life who treats you according to a version of you that no longer exists?

Most of us have loved ones or friends that treat as the person we used to be and never adjust in
their minds to who we’ve become.

I would even venture to say that you are holding ideas that no longer apply to your life but you’ve
never reevaluated them and so you’re missing out based off expired ideas.

On today’s episode, I help you raise your awareness of this so you can get rid of ideas that limit you,
as well as how to handle those people who still treat you as the kid you no longer are.

Episode 25: Unfaithful

Episode 25: Unfaithful

Episode 25: Unfaithful

Being unfaithful deals with much more than relationship or marital problems.

Unfaithfulness drives many of the problems we have in our life, whether we realize it or not.

Today’s episode deals with the subtle, but significant, areas affected by unfaithfulness.

I share a major (but simple) discovery that I picked up in marriage therapy.

This episode has the power to improve your quality of life and eliminate some frustrations, anxieties
and hopeless desperations if you’ll take the message and instigate it.
